Opening as a series of travelling exhibitions supporting the inaugural Modern and Contemporary African Art Sale on 16 May 2017, Sotheby’s was delighted to show a selection of highlights from their current sale in the French capital. In addition to the exhibition and together with Céline Seror and Nadine Hounkpatin, Sotheby’s Paris played host to a round table discussion focusing on the history, growth and potential of the market for modern and contemporary art from Africa.
